bari and tanya
collaboration

After a simple beginning, Bari Katz and I have developed a relationship deeply rooted in our shared beliefs and values of social justice and liberation. As a social justice education, design and facilitation team, we have worked with a number of organizations to disrupt the nature of white supremacist patterns within their culture.
Hear what others have said about our work together below, and watch our video resources.

Our story
I met Bari Katz when we were both working with the Posse Foundation in 2011, Bari was in the National Office and I was a mentor for Posse Scholars at Mount Holyoke College. We reconnected a few years later when I moved to NYC to take on a new role as the Deputy Vice President for Institutional Diversity and Community Engagement at Union Theological Seminary.
Bari has been a full-time social justice consultant since 2007 and prior to that worked in education and has a degree in Social Work.
Bari and I have a strong connection as two people who believe deeply that a more socially just world is possible, and are committed both personally and professionally to creating spaces that invite others to imagine and work toward that possibility.
You’ll notice that what’s mentioned here sounds like much of what you’ve read throughout this site. That’s because Bari and I have a genuine partnership, shared values, and an aligned vision for how to show up in the world, and in this work.
